1. Who is a Master User?
A Master User is an individual within your organization who has elevated access rights to create usernames, manage user permissions, and oversee access levels for employees in the PSA system. This role is crucial for maintaining security and ensuring that the appropriate access is granted based on job responsibilities.
As a Master User, you can:
- Create new PS Admin users in your group
- Assign user roles within your group
- Update user details (Email, Name, Phone)
- Reset user passwords
- Enable/Disable PS Admin users
- View PS Admin users in your group
Please request the master user manual from our support team.
As a Master User, you cannot:
- Assign the Admin User Role
- Add/Delete IP addresses
- Create new User Roles
- Change Usernames
2. What should I do if I need Master User Access?
If you need to request Master User access, please send an email from your company email address to the Support team (support@pxp.io). In your email, please specify that you are requesting Master User access and include the following details:
- Your first name
- Your last name
- Your email address
If there are any existing Master Users in your organisation, please include them in the email. If your organisation does not have any Master Users, our Support team will be happy to help you obtain the necessary access.
3. What do I do if the existing Master User has left the organization, and a new Master User needs to be created?
If the current Master User has left your organization and a new Master User needs to be established, please write an email from your company email address to the Support team (support@pxp.io). In your email, provide the following details:
- Your first name
- Your last name
- Your email address
- If you are requesting a new master user for someone else, please also include their name and email address
Additionally, please let us know whether the previous Master User's account needs to be deactivated so that we can proceed with the necessary actions.
